Salim was super supportive by taking pictures and made sure every minute of my time in Agra is well spent. Highly recommend the sunrise tour of Taj especially in summers, with this guide if you wanna take home a bit of the exquisite Taj and the culture of Mughals in Agra.

Once inside the complex we were given free time for an hour to explore, yes 1 hour and honestly that’s all you will need. Great guide, had all the questions and answers. Line into the main mosque moved quickly, very noisy inside I thought it would be quiet but security blowing whistles a people talking. Photos on the outside no photos inside the mosque.

Agra fort was good, to me it was another brick building from years gone by.

We can now... read more confirm the Taj Mahal is more beautiful and more impressive than imaginable regardless of how many photos you have seen of it, and so the trip to Agra is definitely essential if visiting India. We booked a trip from Delhi by car and a guide in Agra which cut out any hassle, and including tickets for monuments just made everything run smoothly.
Most importantly our guide Amir not only told us stories of the sites past which brought the site to life, putting our understanding of the place in context, and he showed us the most interesting nooks & crannies of the Taj and the fort which we would not have found by ourselves. He went out of his way to ensure we found the type of food we wanted at lunch and as a really big bonus took some great photographs of us at the sites, thus avoiding botched selfies.
Our driver was friendly, had a spotless car and plenty of water whenever we wanted. We saw places and understood them because of this tour guide which made the visit really interesting and fun.
